Our Team

David S. Lipson, Ph.D., P.G.

David is an independent consultant specializing in groundwater and surface-water hydrology, groundwater-surface water interactions, fate and transport of contaminants, and groundwater remediation. Dr. Lipson brings more than 25 years of experience working throughout the US and internationally solving complicated water and environmental problems. He has taught groundwater engineering and remediation courses as an adjunct at Colorado School of Mines. He is an editor of the journal Ground Water and serves on the Board of Directors of the Scientists and Engineers Division of the National Ground Water Association (NGWA).

 

Melissa Armstrong, P.E.

Melissa is a senior engineer/project manager at Hydro Science and Engineering, LLC and a licensed Professional Engineer. Ms. Armstrong brings more than 12 years of experience working on a wide range of challenging environmental remediation sites and litigation cases. Her environmental experience includes site conceptual model development, remedial design and planning, and managing a variety of large scale site investigations. In addition, Ms. Armstrong has many years of project management experience including drafting reports, writing, project planning, cost estimating, proposal writing, invoicing and managing staff.

 

Chelsea Bokman

Chelsea is an environmental scientist at Hydro Science + Engineering with 2 years of experience working on a variety of groundwater-related projects including environmental remediation, expert witness investigation support, construction defect analysis, and hydro-forensics. Ms. Bokman is experienced in field work, data analysis, groundwater modeling, and report preparation.
